Position: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description:

• Assist the Technical Section Leader with the supervision of the daily activities of the Technical Section and in keeping a high technical level on electrical and mechanical equipment on board, in accordance with the Quality Assurance System of Maersk Drilling
• Keep the Technical Section Leader informed about any irregularities
• The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the maintenance work he is designated responsibility for is carried out and documented in accordance with the requirements specified in the Preventive Maintenance Programme and with good industry practice
• Assist the Drilling Section with the maintenance of equipment when requested to do so
• Assist the electrician during maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment
• Assist in daily inspections and checking of machinery and mechanical equipment in operation
• Assist with the upkeep of records and logs as instructed by the Technical Section Leader


Education Required: Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent
Age: 18 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 6, 000 / Month
Employment Type: Full Time
