Position: Marine Second Engineer
Total Vacancy: 5 Male

Job Description:

The duties of the Second Engineer/Third Engineer are, but not limited to, the following:

a) Have due regard for the safety of himself and other personnel.
b) Carry out watch-keeping duties.
c) Assist the Chief Engineer and learn all aspects of his duties with a view to eventual promotion.
d) Train ratings.
e) Responsible for the engine room Fi-Fi pumps and safety equipment.
f) Allocate duties to the oilers
g) Participate in safety meeting
h) Shall contribute in the planning and risk assessment of any work they participate in
i) Shall report to Master, accident and/or dangerous situations whether personal injury is caused or not.
j) Shall understand and be familiar with their emergency duties as per the ship’s muster list
k) Shall attend any safety and pollution prevention drills conducted onboard.

Basic Salary: B$ 66 / Day
