Position: Operations Manager

Job Description:
Primary Objectives
• To supervise day to day operation on Freight forwarding activities / shipment coordination with clients, suppliers, counterparts.
• To supervise in ensuring the smooth management of the operations department.
• Dedication to customer satisfaction and total quality management
• Tight operational control to ensure maximum efficiency and profit on shipments.
• To help and assist to maintain QHSE requirement and to make sure implementation at all times.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Extensive knowledge in all aspects of Freight Forwarding including international newtwork
• Knowledge of the local transport industry environment
• Demonstrate leadership and people skills
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with staff of various levels
• Ability to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
• Understanding of accounting procedures
• Ability to competently step into various roles as required.
• Ability to prioritise and multi-task
• Sound computer skills
Education Required: First Degree or equivalent
Age: 20 - 45 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 1, 200 / Month
Allowances: B$ 350
