Position: Rig Administrator

Job Description:

• responsible to operate communication equipment and monitor radio traffic in accordance with the requirements stipulated by the FlagState of the MODU and rules and regulations applicable to the operating area responsible for maintaining updated call-out and notification lists pertaining to emergency response situations
• Attend to the radio telecommunication on board and maintain all the radio-telecommunication equipment and related equipment belonging to the rig, in good working condition
• Attend to and maintain the rig's EDP equipment, and ensure correct use of it
• Monitor the fire and gas detection systems onboard
• Monitor and log positions of ships and helicopters trafficking the rig, and maintain contact with storage tanker and standby boat
• Assist the OIM with administrative work as instructed
• Perform helicopter flight monitoring and assist with weather condition reporting
• Perform weather observations and report same to relevant authorise at required intervals
• Keep records (including accounting lists) of telephone, fax, and telex communicati­on from/to the rig, and keep the necessary logbooks updated regarding communication and monitoring of helicopters, ships and alarms.
• Make sure that reports required by relevant authorise are sent in duly Keep the radio log book up to date at all times, prepare the daily POB (Persons On Board) lists
• Keep flight booking lists and SPT updated daily Hand-over reports



Education Required: GCE ''A'' Level
Age: 18 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 2, 000 / Month
