Senior Accountant

A local company based in Brunei Muara district is currently looking for a SENIOR ACCOUNTANT with the following qualities:

• A qualified accountant with a recognized professional qualification. e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc.
• With minimum 8 years of working experience in retail industry.
• Preferably local or permanent resident only.
• Had demonstrated leadership and people management experience within the industry.
• To oversee the accounting function and work closely with relevant department to ensure all cross functional business processes are running efficiently and productively.
• Regular review of internal controls to enhance efficiency of finance operation.
• Able to prepare a full set of accounts for a limited company.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and systems which must be in compliance with approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Possesses good time management and strong financial analysis skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast paced and challenging environment.
• Have good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skillsets.
• Self-motivated and a quick learner who can work with little or no supervision.
• Salary will commensurate with qualification and experience.
