In co-operation with the Drilling Section Leader supervise in particular ongoing work with installation, mounting, maintenance, testing and co

ection of the BOP Ensure that everyone within the Section has the necessary technical qualifications and experience to perform the directed work in a professional and safe ma
er Within the area of responsibility, supervise the safety training and on the job training Ensure that the drilling crews are well acquainted with all emergency procedures and that they participate in the emergency drills on Familiarise oneself with the contents of the contract between Maersk Drilling & Maersk FPSOs and the operator Ensure that work performed by service companies is according to good oil field practice and that good communication exists between the service companies and the crew Supervision of drilling related equipment Control and inspect the BOP and related equipment as well as the tension equipment - where this is installed Ensure that the portable gas-detecting equipment is used and that readings of the environment in all drilling related areas on board are performed when this is required Participate in other inspections and controls as required and supervise the execution of the Drilling Section Leader’s orders Follow up that “Work Permits” and “Safe Job Analyses” are thoroughly used in accordance with Maersk Drilling & Maersk FPSOs procedures and instructions Ensure the completion of drilling related reports in accordance with the MD Management System If necessary assist with the preparation of other reports as required in accordance with the MD Management System Ensure that the hand-over routines are properly performed when the drilling crews are being relieved and that the relieving drilling crew is in possession of the required competency Ensure that the Assistant Driller is given sufficient training to bring his competency to Driller level Prepare Daily Drilling Reports


Education Required: First Degree or equivalent
Age: 18 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 9, 000 / Month
