Job Details:

Position: Offshore Rigger
Total Vacancy: 30 Male/Female

REQUIREMENTS:

a) Preferably Bruneian
b) Minimum of 2 years as a rigger at least one of which must have been spent offshore
c) Must be medically and physically fit do undertake the duties of a portable lifting equipment operations and able to work at heights.
d) Must be familiar with the correct way to attach bulldog clips and other fittings to wire ropes.
e) Must be familiar with mooring operations and the rigging requirement regarding handling anchors, pendant buoys and wires.
f) Must be fully conversant with the principles and techniques of fire prevention and firefighting and will have attended an Advanced Course on the same
g) Must be conversant with the company Safety Rules and Regulations.
h) Must be fully conversant with safety and permit to work procedures.
i) Shall be capable of splicing both manila and wire ropes and have the skill to make all required knots, bends and hitches

TRAINING REQUIRED

a) Basic H2S Training
b) BOSIET including EBS
c) Banksman training
d) Rigging and sligging

Education Required: Lower Secondary Assessment (PMB) or equivalent (BJCE)

Basic Salary: B$ 1, 400 / Month
