Position: Solid Control Operator

Job Description:

• Supervise the operations in the shale shaker room and perform required work in co
ection with these operations, including carrying out simple maintenance of all equipment used for mechanical separation of mud and solids
• Perform daily cleaning and “housekeeping” in the shale shaker room and at the trip tank
• Assist in handling drill pipes, casings, and drilling equipment on the drill floor, and carry out simple maintenance on the equipment as instructed by the Driller, the Assistant Driller, or the Rig Hydraulic
• Inform the Driller or the Assistant Driller regarding irregular situations within or near his area of work
• Assist with on the job training of less experienced Floorhands and of roustabouts relieving on the drill floor Participate with the drilling crew in regular emergency preparedness drills, including required “Kick” drills
• Perform other due work which is ordered by the Driller, the Assistant Driller, or other superiors
• Ensure the integrity of any dump valves, and make sure no unintentional dumping does occur.
• Report immediately to immediate superior in case such dumping should take place


Education Required: GCE ''A'' Level
Age: 18 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 2, 559 / Month
Employment Type: Full Time
