Position: Trainee Safety Training Officer
Total Vacancy: 1 Male/Female

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation and the follow-up of the HSE Programs for the site around continuous improvement
• To work in conjunction with the Assist and Assure team members while on they are on site
• Maintaining contact with all crew I subcontractor supervisors and employees in order to co-ordinate and assist them in the implementation and enforcement of the HSE programs
• To undertake inductions with other site HSE reps and ensure a register is maintained
• Ensure that all returning crews are shown the induction video and any that any HSE incidents/ learnings or Policy changes are communicated
• Attend morning calls, cabinet meetings, crew change meetings and relay HSE information HSE performance, injuries, damage and dangerous occurrences
• Ensure incident reporting is completed as per Client and Company Policies
• Join investigation teams as required to determine the root cause of incidents and dangerous occurrences and recommending means of preventing recurrences
• Promoting within the work group an understanding that incident prevention is an integral part of operational efficiency
• Liaising with the HSE Management to identify and improve the HSE management systems in place
• Participate in all drills and work with the WSSOE's on any HSE actions that may arise and ensure that drills are correctly recorded and stored
• Inspects site with the WSSOE and review the site survey sheets prior to work commencing to ensure actions have been closed
• To participate in the weekly HSE conference calls (including welfare, personal safety and process safety)
• Be competent in accordance with WSH Officer Regulations, or approved development staircase to achieve competency.

Minimum Requirements:

- Brunei citizen or Brunei P. R - Degree/Diploma
- NEBOSH Certification.
- Who has at least minimum 2 years’ experience as a Safety Training Officer or equivalent


Age: 22 - 55 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 1, 500 / Month
Employment Type: Full Time
