Description
Qualification and experience requirements;
• Bachelor Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical, Chemical Degree
• Minimum 8 years in Business Analysis
• Minimum 4 years Business Analysis in Oil and Gas
• Knowledge of all technical skills and processes and educates more junior staff to get to the next level
• Involved in oil and gas processes, addressing business challenges with product features and embed these solutions into customer/user daily practices
• Guides developers on the functional specifications and provides them feedback during the functional testing phase of the project
• Influence the product roadmap to enable the product to cover business solutions which are commercially attractive
Technical Skills;
• Map business requirements to product features and ensure that business objectives are met. Steer the product roadmap to enable future sales
• Ownership of Product/Project requirement
• Alignment of Product and Project requirements
• Software Lifecycle
• Story Boarding of business requirements
• Functional design specification writing
• Functional Software Testing and bug tracking
• User Acceptance Testing
• Prepare Release documents
• Product Training for end users
• Documentation of product/project features
• Basic software configuration and integration skills:
• Security configuration (roles, users’ configuration
• Validation of Formula for business solutions
• Screen Usability review and data validation
• Prioritize bug lists and projects
Other Skills Requirements;
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Good Presentation skills
• Change management skills to deploy a solution into the business
• Run Product Demos for Conferences and Client visits
• Involvement in Digital transformation programs
• Awareness of IT architecture, databases, multi-tier architectures,
web applications, mobility
• Real Time Data through PI Data Link is a plus
• SQL Queries through SQL Management Studio is a plus
