Description

Minimum Education:
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent technical qualification.

Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in the maintenance and repair of radio communications equipment or digital microwave transmission systems.

Hands-On Exposure:
- Prior exposure to Motorola DMR radios, UHF/VHF repeaters, or similar radio systems in a commercial or industrial setting is preferred.

Equipment Maintenance:
- Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of DMR handsets, repeaters, and base station equipment under the guidance of the Radio Comms & Digital Microwave Engineer; proficient in basic fault-finding using RF test equipment.

Safety & Hazardous Areas:
- Familiar with ATEX / IECEx equipment classifications applicable to hazardous area operations; ability to handle and maintain intrinsically safe radio devices in accordance with applicable safety standards.
